Things You Don’t Wanna know

Flix’s Trivia:

1) Flux, Flex and Flax do exist in the English dictionary, but not Flix.
2) It has no definite meaning (hey, don’t roll your eyes and hit the BACK button, read on)
3) It is officially released on 7th July 07 but has yet to be patented.

THE NAME
Flix is a name that I just thought of a few days back. It is not derived from anything but simply because I think it’s cool and sort of represents da future.

THE FUTURE?

If you feel the name Flix is kinda awkward for you, well here’s the truth: Many people felt awkward too at various popular names available nowadays when they are first created. Look at Google, blog or even Bata. Who would actually think of such name, Bata, which probably derived from ‘batu-bata’, to be a popular shoe brand name, which I believe most Malaysians would have purchased before, at least once in their entire life. Google, even has its own place now in the dictionary. Blog is not known until the 21st century. It is now officially a word, and hey! I’m Blogging!

I believe Flix will achieve the same. It is a name that I hope to make popular someday, and I start it off with a ‘blog’.

A BLOG?

I ‘borrow’ the name Flix for my blog, but don’t get me wrong, I had no intention to make this blog popular whatsoever, simply because I’m not the type of guy who love blogging.

This blog has its own custom made logo as well as motto: Ups and Downs

WHY UPS & DOWNS?

EVERYTHING has its ups and downs – from life to health to fortune as well as a brand new gadget (eg. Iphone) and a piece of software or design. Even the elevator.

Basically this blog is just a place where I’ll ramble on incoherently bout’ EVERYTHING I like (and perhaps dislike)
