I’ve come across this cute sketch when surfing the net. I had never known that there is actually an anti-IE6 campaign going on around (or should I say went on around).

Its true though IE6 should banned, or better still eliminated completely from the web.

IE6 is not just sluggish, it has so many security loop holes that makes your PC so vulnerable when you’re surfing the web, not to mention the potential “leakage” of your personal details (IC, credit card security no. etc.)

If you’re still sticking around IE6 or 7, do get an upgrade to IE8 at least. If possible, leave IE and join the Firefox bandwagon. I’m a PC user but certainly not an IE fan. Firefox redefines web browser entirely, thanks to its open source addons and extensions. If you hate Firefox for no reason whatsoever, you can opt for Opera instead. The latest Opera has a new “Unite” feature which is pretty cool.

You can try Google Chrome too, for simplicity and some extra (just tiny lil’) speed. I wouldn’t compromise my addons for speed though. Firefox addons are simply amazing and powerful~!

Can’t wait for Firefox 3.5! Release end of June!
