Thanks to Yoke Mun, Philip and Tee, I had my first full soccer match (not played on one, but watched one :D )

It started with our intention to watch Terminator : Salvation, but tickets ran out. Should have guessed that since its premiere night. Ended up watching Night at The Museum II : Battle of Smithsonian, which was really good I would say. Continuous lame but creative jokes and a good plot. The first had a better plot but the sequel is still amazingly creative, especially the ending.

I love Kahmunrah! He (Hank Azaria) have this really crazy style of talking! He’s actually the voice of The Thinker as well as Abraham Lincoln.

Having Jonas Brothers as the 3 cherubs are brilliant~! But I’m kinda disappointed that Sacajawea (the Red Indian girl) doesn’t have much role in this sequel. In the first Night at the Museum, she had kind of a lead role and she made one of the funniest scene in the movie.

Amy Adams made a great addition to the sequel (as Amelia Earhart). Love her in “Enchanted”!

After the movie, we had around 2 hours before the match. Switch a few places to find a suitable place to watch Champions League final : Man Utd vs Barcelona.

I’m skeptical at first I would say. I’d never watched a full 90-minute soccer match in my entire life. Oh wait, I barely watched a soccer match for more than 5 minutes. I thought the reason so it’s because it is/may be boring (for me). But it turned out unexpectedly good. I had a great time in fact watching the match. I’m not supporting any team but the fact that both my coursemates Yokie and Tee are supporting MU, I unconsciously sided for the team as well, while trying to remain neutral at the same time.

I’m not in a position to comment much about the match last night, given that my IQ on soccer is really low: I only know a few of the popular players and the basic rules of the game… All I can summarize is that Barcelona played a really good game, almost third quarter of time controlling the game. Defense and teamplay on MU side was a bit dissapointing.

Well congratz Barca’s fan..! MU fans..cheer up..hahaha

Would I ever watched a 90-minute match again? Maybe…if there’s company :) (and of course must be a match between big shots only!)
