- Remy ‘Gambit’ LeBeau -
Dubbed X-Men Origins : Wolverine, it is going to be the latest upcoming X-Men movie based on the popular Marvel Comics. Don’t get me wrong, this is not the sequel of the X-Men movie which ‘ended’ with X-Men III – The Last Stand, but is a completely new movie which features Wolverine.
Rumoured to be released on May 2009, this movie is definitely going to be my ‘must-watch’ alongside with Transformers 2! What actually caught my attention (when I first read it in TheStar newspaper) was not its title or plot, but the introduction of my 2nd favourite (after Storm) X-Men character – Gambit! In case you’re wondering who he was, he’s the coolie with telekinetic power who manipulate cards as his main weapon alongside his ability to charge objects into explosive (image above)
The story features Wolverine, who lives a mutant life and seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabertooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program.
Hugh Jackman, the ex-Wolverine for all the previous X-Men film will remain as Wolverine in this movie. Remy ‘Gambit’ LeBeau will be starred by Taylor Kitsch, the guy from The Covenant. New villain character, Deadpool, will also be introduced in this film.
I’m really looking to seeing Gambit (finally) in action!

Hello Baby Daneil Hanney <33 ;D And Kim Samsoon ;D Heh
If you are going to make a movie like this you are going to have to come very very hard and very very fast. Its gotta be no holds barred and non stop. We got the story telling and the grossly under-developed characters in the first 3 movies, some action, and no reason to make a #4 that follows that tired story line. I must say that I am very exited to see what can be accomplished with the addition of new characters but am very wary about getting “the same old hype”. And if you bring Rouge back… …1-get someone that can act, and 2- follow her comic character better. she is not a whiny little boy chaser. Anyways, I could come up with things all day and night, but what I really am trying to say is… …get it right this time. Its not always for the brats (kids).
