Free Rice!
02Feb08
(yay, I’ve donated 880 grains of rice!)
It’s not exactly on-message but it’s addictive and it’s for a good cause. FreeRice is a computer “game” that tests your vocabulary and for every word that you get right, 20 grains of rice are donated through the United Nations to end world hunger.
This is a great game that you can play and in the same time donate grains of rice to poor countries. Free Rice is a word game powered by World Food Programme (WFP). The site is funded by their advertisers: Macy’s, Fujitsu, Timelife, Apple, Office Depot, Readers Digest, and several more.
While they are completely serious about this programme, there’s still some room for a bit of sarcasm:

Have fun~ while doing something good~!
