WordPress offer 3GB?! Wow…

As quoted from WordPress blog: “Today, one of those developments comes to fruition — everyone’s free upload space has been increased 60x from 50mb to 3,000mb. To get the same amount of space at our nearest competitor, Typepad, you’d pay at least $300 a year. Blogger (referring to blogspot) only gives you 1GB. We’re doing the same thing for free.”

Before this I did not upload high quality images or photos on my blog due to the 50MB limit (though I’m only using 6% of it up to now). I try to save as much space as possible but I don’t need to put that in mind now! Kewl! A million thanks to WordPress. With this upgrade, I can officially say that WordPress offers the best FREE blog hosting service up to date.

Don’t hesitate to move to WordPress!

If you feel like wanting to try WordPress but doesnt want to leave your old posts in your old blog behind, well have no worries cause there’s an ‘Import’ option offered by WordPress whereby you can import your posts, comments and users from existing Blogger or Livejournal blog. I think now you don’t have any reason not to try WordPress…unless you are generating lots of revenue through blog ads (WordPress does not allow ads)

I’ve tried blogger for a few days and I would say that WordPress dashboard is more user-friendly, slick and easy to customize
