Have you watch the latest Harry Potter – The Order of Phoenix?
I really want to know how others feel about the movie, cause I think that there is nothing special or bizarre in this 5th movie.
What do you think?
read below for my personal review on the movie.

Firstly, there are no new spells in this new movie, as far as I’d noticed. (correct me if I’m wrong)
Spells used including -
Expecto Patronum, the latest, appeared in the forth movie.
Old school spells:
Lumos – for light
Alohamora – to open lock
Stupefy – some sort of telekinesis spell
Expelliarmus – to disarm opponent’s wand
Unforgivable curse:
Avada Kedavra – killing spell
Crucio – inflict intolerable pain (almost used, as far as I can remember)
and a few more, cant remember their pronunciations…
*when Harry Potter and team stood up against Umbridge and determined to learn real spells (which is opposed under Umbridge’s administration), I thought that they are going to research some new spells and learn them themselves, but unfortunately, it turned up to be that Harry is teaching others how to perform the Patronus spell? Huh?! And Hermione is learning too! Oh my, I miss the miss-know-it-all, the old Hermione Granger, who is always the first to learn new spells, new techniques, guide Harry and Ron to a cleverer path and clear them off of their stupid ideas. All that is still preserved in the book, but not clearly shown in the movie. In this movie, she sort of becoming a narrator, to narrate about something new that appears suddenly in the movie, for example, the Room of Requirement. It doesn’t make her look (or perhaps sound) brilliant, it makes her look silly…
Comparison:
*In the book, Hermione told them that they need a room to practise magic and spells, and to do other illegal-under-the-Umbridge-administration stuffs. She remember that she’d read about the Room Of Requirement but she wasn’t sure where it was. Then I don’t really remember…but I guess they look for it and found it.
*In the movie, suddenly there’s a scene where Longbottom was walking through the hallway of Hogwarts and the room appeared, and Hermione (as background narrator) begins to narrate a few short lines about the Room of Requirement.
And poor Ron, he appears at very little scene and indeed, even Nevile Longbottom has more role than he did. His twin brothers appeared the most, out of all the Weasleys.
Other than that, almost all the scenes are old ones, (the moving stairs, Hagrid’s Hut, Professor Dumbledore’s office, dining hall, student’s common room, the train station, Azkaban) except the Ministry of Magic department, the Room of Requirement and No.12 Grimmauld Place – Order of Phoenix Headquarter.
I know the movie must be kept shorter than the novel (of course) but some amazing scenes/parts that I think worth it to be shown on the movie had been ‘cut’ off.
For example,
1) the land of the giants
2) the story on the phoenix
3) more on the Order of Phoenix
Basically what is shown in the movie does not depict it’s title at all – The Order of Phoenix as
1) the Order of Phoenix is rarely mentioned, we can’t really know what the Order is all about and what action that they have taken to stop Voldemort (oops, I mentioned his name)
2) the phoenix just appears once in the movie (well I guess the appearance of phoenix contributes a lot to the title too, as it is often mentioned in the book, and Dumbledore even talk about the phoenix, its specialties and stuff…in the book, not the movie)
I’ve talked mostly about what’s DOWN (not so good) about the movie.
So what’s the UP (good side)?
I’ll give credit to its graphics, really magical and fantastic
The casts are well done too.
It’s a nice movie overall, especially for those who haven’t seen any of the previous Harry Potter.
But for those who have seen the previous magical adventures of Harry Potter, the fifth Harry Potter is something of a ’serious movie stuck in a magical land’
FLIX INTERVIEW WITH HARRY POTTER’S CAST
Q: What is the one thing that you are not satisfy with the movie? or during the making of the movie?

Umbridge almost used the cruciatus curse in the movie, but Harry actually did, though it sucked, on Bellatrix.
Levicorpus is in the movie ~ though it’s not really mentioned in the books until HBP.
some of the spells we missed that were in the book:
Flagrate
Locomotor
(Tonks’) Pack!
Evanesco
Riddikulus
Scourgify (has this been in *any movie yet)
Colloportus
Impedimenta
Silencio
Diffindo
Tarantallegra
Finite
wow cool info, i can’t remember that much…
read the book few years back
Haha, what i know is, the show is damn boring and too much talking.. and i slept in the cinema
WTF!!! No wonder Hermione love Hairy Potter so much cause of his freaking long “wand” juz like Chang Hua’s =)
though harry potter’s film are fantastic, order of phoenix has a boring startoff.
Ha Ha ! You guys knw..she’s goin out wid Tom now!Rugy player!
hahah waat who is tom?? that she is going out wid??
i love you ron he verry cute
the thing that bothers me most is that dobby isnt in the movie…. and by the way it was dobby who told them about the room of requierment… but they gave that glory to nevell
I saw a few new spells in the movie besides levicourpous. Finte Incantato (explosion spell) was used by umbridge to destroy the room of requirements wall (although her voice is slightly muffled). also Harry used scourgify on the dark orders #VII, (remember the blue flash of flames?) and Voldemort used Incendio Canatus (Flaming dragon) on dumbledore, and dumbledore used Protega Maxima on Harry right before he fainted.
also a new scene was in the movie besides Grimauld and the courtroom, Mrs. Figgs house, and the new quidditch field.
I just wanted to say, in reply to Pheonix Calixus, that Umbridge actually didnt’ use Finite Incatato too explode the wall of the room of requirements…. she used Bombarda Maxima(im not sure if thats correct spelling, but thats how it sounds).
Ron is the best of all of the “Harry Potter” characters! No debate about it! Plus Rupert Grint is crazy HOT!!!!
