I’ve just subscribe RSS feed for my favourite online news provider – BBC.co.uk
They are located at the bottom of the blog. Feel free to navigate through the daily updated headlines of global news and technology (my fav. section!)
What’s RSS? Just in case you want to know.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication

I came to know about RSS a few years ago (the release of RSS 2.0) when there was much hype over this new technology. The history dated back to 1995, but..who love to know? Haha. To cut short, this technology, or rather called a format is used to publish frequently updated contents (of website) like news, blogs, etc. in the form of headlines, titles or summary of the content. By subscribing to RSS, subscriber get updated headlines automatically, rather than manually checking on the website.
*RSS feeder is automatically fed with the updates*

To subscribe to RSS feed, you first need a reader by applying ANY ONE of the options below (Included with their UPS & DOWNS aka pros and cons):

1) Download & install a RSS aggregator (or better known as feed reader). Most readers are free. (eg. http://www.rssreader.com/)
pros: easy to use, no login whatsoever
cons: need the hassle to install it, bites off bits of your bytes (storage space)

2) If you do not , use Google-reader, a free web-based application that works just as any installed rss reader.
pros: save your hard disk storage (a very very very unnoticeable bits of your hard disk)
cons: need to subscribe to Google to gain login ID and password to use the service

3) Use browser that support drop down menu for RSS feeds like Firefox.

Two thumbs up for firefox – its a must have browser. No cons for using it >.<
I recommend that you opt for option 3. How to subscribe RSS feed? It’s easy.

To make things easier, I’ve created a picture guided tutorial
Click on the image below to enlarge:

In the case of using Firefox browser, now, look up at the address bar (where you type a particular web address). You should have seen http://myflix.wordpress.com/ and at the far end of the address bar you should notice the RSS LOGO as shown above. Click on it and you’ll be directed to the page http://myflix.wordpress.com/feed/. Choose to subscribe the feed using Live Bookmarks and subscribe! Choose Bookmark Toolbar Folder so that the Live Bookmarks will appear on your Firefox toolbar as a dropdown menu and voila, you’re done!
Repeat the steps with your favourite sites.

If you need any HELP on the tutorial, or question like ‘How insert RSS to my blog’, or opt for other RSS reader, feel free to ask me for guide. Post your problems at the comments section :)
